On 15 January 2011 came the drama group "accent" from Karlsruhe to Schwäbisch Hall for an Exchange Date of intercultural art project "adventure diversity."
Under the direction of Rusen Kartaloglu and small Lamis, drama teachers of the Baden State Theatre in Karlsruhe, she completed a combined improv theater workshop. Then there was a public demonstration in which showed the young actors of "accent" and "Adventure diversity" a taste of their abilities. The challenging topic of "Law and Justice has been taken in a variety of improvisations, the audience eagerly participated and was amazed at the original and spontaneous conversion of the craziest scenes playful skill and wit combined with each other.
Clara Quick, a participant of the project "Diversity adventure" reports on her first improv show: "The day passed so quickly and was fully loaded with new impressions. The performance went off without a hitch and the audience clearly had their fun, even by the funny way the moderation of Russians and Lamis, which led through the program. It was even funnier than in the sample. And there is much fun. Finally, we have also got strong applause. What more could you want? "
Clara reported Fast:
When I arrived at 14 clock at the Kunsthalle Würth, I was a little excited. I had no idea what would happen to me. The group from Karlsruhe was already there, they had traveled by train, so we could begin immediately.
First, we have some know-learning games under the guidance made by Rusen. Then we went to the "Canned." Rusen us divided into two groups (mixed variety and adventure accent). Despite different Improv skills we should do together and against each other different improv games. There were several points to observe the variety of adventure-esteem because we just had too little or sometimes no experience. You could not act insecure, you had to stay focused and on your own body language and that of others . Make sure The most difficult thing for me was to think too much, turn off the head and make it easy. Normally one thinks about everything. And I'm also more likely not the spontaneous type, so it was quite unusual to simply act on instinct. But the more you have found in the game, the looser it was.
Over time it got easier, and thus the individual scenes were always casual and fun. In between, there was always small deposits that were played only by the accent of learning. It was funny and was fun to watch them. If you do not know what's next, a very special kind of tension is built up. It can happen to anything and I've also often wondered how I would have played, if I had landed in such a game situation. In which direction the play moves alone can the actors and their ideas and moods can be determined. If Rusen then gave the signal, we had to try, how to achieve a good end of the scene. If you stay too long at a scene or situation, it may happen that the whole thing loses its humor.
After we had practiced quite a while, we were all pretty hungry and I have also noticed that my concentration waned gradually. It was time for a break. We all went in the adult education and have there hit the hanging stomachs full. The food that the women have organized the International Women's Circle, was delicious and plentiful. But with this common-together it was not just a's mass of intertwining Pizza, but it was also very interesting to converse with people from the other group a bit to learn and exchange experiences. After all, it was the first time that we could talk really, because the workshop was not more possible, unless one was going to strain the nerves of shouts and Lamis.
turned slowly out more and more that we should be involved in the public performance of the accent group in the evening. I was afraid already, as Rusen had from time to time hinted. We were all pretty excited, but we should show only the exercises that we had learned in the workshop, but that was after all for most of us the first improv show at all.
When we went back to the Würth Museum, my tension was increased tremendously. We have quickly set up the chairs and we then forward gathered in a semicircle of chairs on the stage. Rusen us wanted to take a little courage, he said, as he had seen us in the samples, he believes, we would manage it. Me personally that again encouraged. Then it was also going on, everything went off without a hitch and the audience clearly had their fun, even by the funny way the moderation of shouts and Lamis, which led through the program. It was even funnier than in the sample. And there is much fun. Finally, we have also got strong applause. What more could you want?
The day passed so quickly and was fully loaded with new impressions. I think I would have known before, all of which are coming my way, I would have expected me not likely. I suspect that was similar to the others in my group. But in the end everything worked out. We have learned not only new games and new people, but can also collect a lot of experience. It was a beautiful and busy day with some problems, but also much joy in playing. After we said goodbye to the other and the contact numbers were exchanged, it became already quite late and I was glad that I participated at the workshop.
